The Global Academy of Management also provides its institutional members with the opportunity to develop and learn individual management practices and skills. The Global Academy of Management oversees the individual management education roles of specific educational institutions and contributes to the improvement of the educational courses, seminars or management training courses and programmes provided by educational institutions through standardisation of the practices taught, information and continuous innovation.

EDUCATION


The GAM signature courses are exclusive courses focused on management skills, practices and abilities that adapt to the latest trends every year.

The Global Academy of Management’s Learning and Development Department supports theory development and research in the areas of management education (academic) and leadership/management development (non-credit instruction). The Global Academy of Management’s Division of Development and Education for Educational Theory, Practice and Policy Research is an important component for member educational institutions. We enable effective management education and development practice by supporting research on programs and institutions that addresses issues at all levels of management education delivery, from the individual student to the politics of education and learning.





EDUCATION


We support the development of our members’ skills through workshops focused on improving effective teaching, learning, participation and engagement strategies. Our main areas of focus include: theoretical advances or empirical evidence on effective and innovative teaching methods, technologies, learning and management development techniques, institutional structures or educational policies; and the application of learning theories. The department is also interested in research and comparative practices in coaching, outcomes assessment, learning styles, and online learning across cultures and settings.

GAM’s mission is to contribute to management teaching and learning by publishing theory, empirical research, reviews, critiques, and resources that address the processes of management teaching and the resulting learning.
